Karen Argetsinger is a collaborative attorney, certified mediator and advocate concentrating her practice in Family mediation, Employment law, Estate Planning and Health Advocacy.

Karen has worked in the legal field since 1992. Her background includes large law firm experience at Hale and Dorr, LLP (currently Wilmer Hale) and Warner & Stackpole, LLP (currently Kirpatrick & Lockhart, LLP) along with experience as a law clerk and independent consultant. She was a judicial intern for over a year with a United States District Court Magistrate.

Karen received her Bachelor of Science at Tulane University and her JD from Massachusetts School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

She has a special interest in child advocacy and health policy as well as facilitating collaboration between attorneys, hospitals and doctors. She has joined with family members and an amazing group of doctors to establish the John E. Lewy Fund for Children’s Health (subsidiary of American Society of Pediatric Nephrology Foundation) as a living remembrance of her father’s legacy to create a stronger future for the children in their care. She is also a Board of Director at School on Wheels of Massachusetts and provides employment counsel to the non-profit company (http://sowma.org/).
